What is Buy with Friends?
For schedulable experiences designed for groups of two or more, Buy with Friends lets a single guest purchase an experience and each guest in the group can then pay for their portion of the experience separately. This can make large group purchases go a bit smoother for guests.
How does it work?
The guest is reserving available time on your calendar for their group when they use Buy with Friends. Once you confirm availability for the date/time they requested, the remaining customers will be able to purchase their portion of the experience. The per person ticket price may vary based on the number of people who attend. You will see a final order summary in your dashboard which will be recalculated once the number of attendees is final. The minimum number of people you have set for your experience must be reached by the group by the “tip by date," which will be between 2-7 days depending on the scheduled date, in order for the event to take place.
What happens if the minimum group number is not met on a Buy with Friends order?
In the event that the group is not able to reach the minimum number of people by the date required, the time that was being held on your calendar will be released. IfOnly will handle the customer service, so you don’t have to. We will notify them of the event cancellation and their orders will also be canceled.
