How do blind auctions work?

All blind auctions have two rounds: a General Round (open to all users) and the Final Round.

The General Round ends at the time specified on the Experience Listing. You may increase your bid at any time during the General Round. At the end of the General Round, the top five bidders whose bids have received credit card authorization are invited to bid in the Final Round.

The Final Round lasts 24 hours from the time the General Round ends. The top five bidders will be contacted via email simultaneously. If you are one of the top five bidders, you may increase your bid at any time during the Final Round. The highest bidder at the end of the Final Round wins the auction.

As a general rule, you cannot retract or cancel a bid once placed. By bidding, you agree that you are entering into a legally binding contract to pay for that auction item if you are the winner.

Immediately following your bid, Traina Interactive will authorize your credit card for 10% of the bid amount as a deposit (“credit card authorization”). Note, that your authorization may take up to 5 business days to release based on your bank’s processing times.

After the auction is complete, the winning Buyer can switch payment methods to check or wire transfer by immediately providing written notice to Traina Interactive.
Payment in full must be received within seven (7) calendar days after the auction has closed.
